Internationally known Sam Choy, Hawaii's official goodwill ambassador, host of the popular TV series "Sam Choy's Kitchen" and author of over 10 cookbooks is one of the founding fathers of Hawaii Regional Cuisine.

In A Hawaiian Luau, Sam returns to his cooking roots which began as a young boy helping his father cater huge luau on Oahu's North Shore.

Makaha Sons
The music of the Makaha Sons (Moon, John & Jerome), one of Hawaii's top recording and performing groups, is nothing short of magic. Their three-part harmonies are unmatched in sweetness and precision, accompanied by innovative and vibrant arrangements.

Since beginning as the Makaha Sons of Niihau in 1976 they have been a driving force in Hawaiian music. Touring extensively they are known nationally and internationally and have performed twice at Carnegie Hall. Their over 12 albums as the Makaha Sons have garnered multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (the Hawaiian equivalent of the Grammy Awards) including Vocal Group of the Year, Traditional Album of the Year, Best Song in the Hawaiian Language, Anthology of the Year, and Engineering and Graphic Awards.
